Dear Shirley
and Clare,
As you know, we live in Florida, and the thought of finding
care for my husband’s
aging parents in Colorado presented us with a scary situation. Whom do we trust?
How do we decide? Where should we go? Who would honor their wishes? Respect them?
Care for them as family? Can we afford them? And those were just a few of our
questions. Carefully we started our search through this uncharted territory. We are now almost one year since we chose your team, after
interviewing several, to care for them. We must tell you
that we have been nothing short of delighted with every aspect
of the service that you and your staff have given us. From
the earliest meetings, you were patient, concerned and you
listened to our concerns. You have provided us with not only
day to day care for Kent’s home-bound parents, but
you have also given us wise counsel in the management of
their care. We cannot thank you and the staff enough for
all of these services for them, not to mention the peace
of mind that we have felt since you took responsibility for
their care. Our parents have made a choice, for better or for worse,
to live their final days in their own home, if they possibly
can. You have made that wish possible for them. We know they
are vulnerable. We know they require patience. We know that
can be difficult. But somehow, day to day, you accomplish
it, keeping us well informed of changes. You and your staff
are devoted and compassionate and we feel the highest trust
in your professional judgment. We wanted you to know how much we appreciate your daily
concern. With no family in the Colorado area, we feel like
you are family. We stand ready to speak to anyone who might
be considering your services Our deepest regards,
(Daughter-in-law). |
